This is the first A319 delivered from Airbus,
and it went to Swissair on April 25th 1996. The aircraft was named
after "Rümlang", a small town of 5,366 (1999) inhabitants
in "Bezirk Dielsdorf" which is sited only a few km west of
Zurich Airport. Today the aircraft serves by Swiss Air Lines under
the same registration, and is owned by Wells Fargo Bank Northwest (since
March 31st 2002). |
