This first 757 from Boeing was delivered to Eastern Airlines on December 22th 1982, and the registration number for it was N506EA. The aircraft stayed with Eastern until the airline ceased trading on January 18th 1991. The 757 was taken over by General Electric Credit Corporation on July 12th 1991. Almost one year after this, May 31st 1992, the aircraft was back in business with US Air as N602AU. Today it's still current by US Airways, but it's getting old .... a number of early 757 have already been broken up.
