Tupolev
Tu-204
The
Tu-204 above is the third built - the two earlier are converted
to either Tu-234 or Tu-204-200. The delivery to Aeroflot was
hampered because of the problems with PS90A engines. Some aircraft
were put into trial service by Vnokovo Airlines and Arel Avia
in 1994. It took another three years before all problems with
the
PS90A sorted out. The Tu-204-100 above still is in service by
Aeroflot Russian Airlines, and has the registration RA-64003
(64003 is also the serial number of that aircraft).
