SAS Braathens changed its name to SAS Norge on 1 June 2007. SAS Braathens has its background in the merger
of Braathens and the Norwegian part of Scandinavian Airlines in the
spring of 2004 and this final name change marked the completion of
the merger. SAS Norge is operating
on the Norwegian domestic market as well as the international from
Norway to other European countries. The airline is Norway's largest
and every day 340 flights are departing. The SAS Norge route
network counts 45 destinations - from Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen in
the north to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria in the south. |

The second most noticeable difference
between SAS Braathens and the rest of the Scandinavian Airlines aircraft
is the use of the old Braathens styled waving Norwegian flag. It
replaces the three country flag icons normally used on the rest of
Scandinavian Airlines aircraft. After completing the transfer to
the SAS Braathens (CNO) AOC, the aircraft get a small Norwegian flag
in front of the registration on the nose wheel door.
