To find spot B you need to look for the statue below outside
the terminal. As you see from the photo, also at this spot parts of the guardrail
has plexiglas added, but as for spot A at both ends you have a clutter free view
to the international apron.

Aircraft arriving on taxiway Lima.

The Boeing 737-683 turning right on its way to parking stand at gate 43.

If you want to take photos of arriving aircraft, just remember to be quick with
your index finger to get it before it is at the gate since the jetway will cover
the nose. This particular aircraft in SAS Braathens colours is now flying for
Globespan in Scotland with the registration G-CDRA. Behind the SAS machine is a
British Airways Airbus A319 parked at gate 51 - one of two gates visible from spot
B that are assigned for non-Schengen flights.

Air Malta Airbus A320-214 being pushed back from gate 49 - the second visible
non-Schengen gate.

The aircraft is pushed back onto taxiway Lima before being given the thumbs up.

When runway 01R is used for landings, arriving aircraft that vacate at Bravo 6
have to backtrack on Sierra as this arriving Blue1 RJ85 does. Taxiway Foxtrot is
used for aircraft departing.

Gate 41 is the second closest gate to spot B.

Gate 39 is the closest gate, and here you can get really good close ups - but those
jet blast deflectors can be pain in the a....

If you move over to the west end of plexiglas wall you can avoid those jet blast
deflectors.

The closest remote parking stands are usually used for smaller aircraft like this
BAe Jetstream 31 from Sun-Air of Scandinavia - a franchise to BA flying between OSL
and AAL/AAR/BLL.

But also larger aircraft can be using these remote parking stands, like this
MyTravel Airways Airbus A330-300 parked at stand 186.

Also in the dark you can get a good result.
