November 2004
The
15 pages report from
our trip to Manchester first weekend of
September is almost complete - only the
last couple hours to cover.
Since last - actually on
10 October - the editor and two other spotter were
together with a reporter from Vi Menn (a Norwegian
magazine) at OSL. The three page article came out on
26 October, and together with it PSC released the first
bilingual report from the same event.
A third report has also been released since last entry
here - Jan
Kertzscher's report from Budapest Ferihegy.

During these couple of months a number
of reports and pages have be added to the site, and the
last out is the Braathens current fleet with photos in
the Airlines section.

The report from the Kjeller 2004 airshow
was published today.
15 August 2004
All Aircraft - Airbus pages
have been updated yesterday/today and the Aircraft front
page has also been updated with new high quality historic
photos.

This logbook hasn't been used as much as should have
been the last months. During these months a number
of reports
have been released - from England, Hawaii, Chicago and
Oslo - the last one came out this evening "Evening images
from OSL 16 July
2004". You'll find these reports here.
Nigel Howarth, UK and Jan
Kertzscher, Germany are now part of the contributing editor
team at Plane-Spotter.com together with Kjell Oskar Granland,
Norway and myself.
Jan K is also out with his first publication for PSC - "Tupolev
Tu-154 - variants, history and technical breakdown" (2.9
MB in Acrobat format) - you'll find it here.

The report from the spotter trip to Northwest England has
now started to roll out. The report has different sections
and covers the airport for Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.
In addtion to this, there sections covering the flights through
Copenhagen and the visits to the museums at Cosford and the
a short visit to Woodford Aerodrome.

Complete check and update of external
links on site done today.

Since last date here in the logbook a number of changes has
been made:
- A new complete fleet
list for Widerøe's Flyveselskap has
been added.
- The other fleet lists has been updated.
- A new Spotter Guide for Seattle-Tacoma International
Airport has been added.
- And today a list of the current fleet with photos of
Scandinavian Airlines also was added.

A full Oslo
Airport section is now ready. It contain a new
slideshow from September 2003, maps of all the destinations
the different airlines serve and serveral trip reports.

Map showing the complete network/destinations for Norwegian
Air Shuttle for the summer season 2004 is added. The map
include also today's announced additions.

A new Spotter Guide is added: Boeing
Field / King County International Airport (BFI) in
USA.

A major upgrade of the Norwegian
Air Shuttle page has been done. It now contains pictures
of all aircraft they've ever had, and a complete fleet
list in Adobe Acrobat format. This fleet list contains
also rumoured identity of three additional 737-300 coming
into the fleet for the summer season 2004.

The last month a lot of minor changes/corrections
have been done to the website. Yesterday the deciphering
of the Airbus codes was the latest addition to the site,
and you'll find it here.
In January one report from the inland Fagernes Airport
was added. During the first days of this month a new jump
seat report will come out - this time covering a flight
with an ATR 42 between HAU and OSL.

Only two days from the century of powered flight celebration,
the forth spotter guide is released - Stockholm
Airport, Arlanda.

Now it's done, first part of the
redesigned Airports-section is
now out. This section include three one page spotter guides
for Amsterdam, Manchester and Oslo. Over time more spotter
guides will be added. The section also contains articles
from airports with spotting tips and reports from events
at certain airports.

The retirement of the Concorde has been followed day by day
on Aerospatiale-BAC
Concorde page. The page contain photos
from the last day
of revenue service at Heathrow, technical data for the
aircraft, the fleet an its status, and from yesterday -
photos of G-BOAG arriving Boeing Field and the Museum
of Flight.

New trip report added - LCC Norwegian
to Stockholm, Arlanda and spotting at the airport.
During
the last couple of weeks minor changes have been done to
many of the aircraft pages.

The Saab
section under Aircraft is
now opened, and Saab 340 is their first out.

A new report ready - the 60 year celebration of the Norwegian
Dakota - airshow at Torp Airport. The next week or so it
will be silent from me - I'm on vacation!

Douglas DC-10 page is now ready with the drawing
of the first delivered DC-10-10 to United Airlines.

Major upgrade of the web site - Reports section added. At the same time the full report from the
spotter trip to Schiphol last weekend in May is released.

Today the drawing of the Douglas DC-3
is released. The DC-3 drawn is the 60 year old LN-WND from
Dakota Norway. Later this year (August 2nd) an airshow
will be held in honour of the jubilant at Torp Airport,
Norway - you can get more info on this at the web site
of Dakota Norway.

authorities suspended the company's UK licences - link to

I'm
back from my ¿ well deserved ? Xmas / New Year holiday
on the west coast of Norway. And during the last day of
2002 Plane-Spotter.com rounded 100,000 requests - only a
little over 100 days after it was started!
I've
started with the links to official airport sites in Europe.
I've decided that I stage the Europe page even though it's
not complete - then you can follow the progress.

The A319, A330 and information on Airbus aircraft are added
to the Airbus section. A further own made drawing of the
first delivered A319 to Swissair is also with this update.
These drawings are made with CorelDRAW (vector graphic),
and it takes between two and five hours to make. The latest
Swissair A319 even contains the correct Rümlang shield.

Back from a short spotter trip at OSL. Airbus section under
Aircraft opened with pictures from the first visit of the
Airbus A330-343X LN-RKH of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).
Today
is exactly one month since Plane-Spotter opened, and during
this month over 20,000 requests has been handled. There
have been visitors from the following countries in order
of visits: Norway, USA, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands,
Canada, Italy, Thailand, Australia, UK, and 17 other countries
with only one visit.
