Oslo
Airport, Gardermoen - where the spotter trip started
 |
11:46
Push back of Sterling 737-86Q OY-SEK is completed.
NB579 is ready for Malaga. |
After
checking in, an unusual sight met us as we
left the building -
no blue SAS tail on the south side of the international pier.
Air France 735, Blue1 AR8, Widerøe DH3, Snowflake 738, Lufthansa
320 and Britannia 738
|
12:43
First of the tails to move was Air France 737-5H6
F-GJNY - AF2075 with destination Paris CDG
|
12:45
Then Lufthansa A320-211 D-AIQH with destination
Frankfurt and flight no. LH3131 pushed back.
|
12:51
Blue1 ARJ85 OH-SAO is now ready for flight
KF510 to Helsinki. |
13:00
Over on the domestic pier, we found the latest
addition to the Norwegian Air Shuttle fleet,
LN-KKQ 737-36Q c/n 28658 (formerly with Air Europa).
Notice that the tail art hasn't been applied
yet, and rumours have it that it will be "Alf
Prøysen". |
13:03
Braathens' second newest 737-705 LN-TUL "Håkon IV Håkonsson"
is
ready for departure to one of their many domestic destinations.
Many wonder what
will so happen to this colours scheme as Braathens and SAS merge
to become ”SAS
Braathens” with a total fleet of 52 Boeing 737s in the coming months. |
13:04
SAS A321-232 OY-KBF "Skapti Viking" has
just arrived from Copenhagen. This aircraft carried
us on our first leg from Oslo to Copenhagen.
We knew this already, thanks to insider info
the night before. |
13:06
There are colourfull paint schemes at Oslo Airport!
This Danish Air Transport ATR42-312 OY-CIR is
one of them. The aircraft is used on "Public
Service Obligation"-flights to Florø. |
Time
had come to queue up for the security check
and then a short visit to the taxfree shops. |
14:12
This has to be called artistic photography, hasn’t
it?
This is the only shot I got of a Duo Airways
aircraft at Oslo Airport.
The following day the
company went bankrupt. More on this under the
Birmingham International Airport section. |
14:13
No Snowflake flights are scheduled out from Norway,
but we occasionally see these birds as they are
also used for mainline SAS flights.
The aircraft
seen here is LN-RCX 737-883 c/n 30196 "Höttur
Viking". |
14:17
Less than 50 minutes to departure, and "Skapti
Viking" has been ready for a while. |
14:31
The cargo containers are loaded, only minutes to
go before we start boarding SK469.
