The terminal with its very characteristic and traditional design

Coast Air keeps its Jetstream 31s out of the snow in this tarpaulin hangar. On the hill is Leirin tower which has excellent views of the runway and surrounding mountains

Avinor’s ground crews about to start refuelling. Avinor has all ground handling at Leirin, including refuelling.

The BAe 146-200QC has a large cargo door

My spotter friend is always concentrating on the finer details :-)

Refueling for the 30-minute trip to Oslo

Boarding completed....

.... and while we sat on a taxiing Jetstream on our way home, the reason we went to Fagernes, a Russian Yakolev 42D arrived from Moscow to pick up a group Russian tourists who had spent a week in Norway.

We were met by snow and wind at Oslo Airport
